Reezote kageyama

Ten years ago, Fumihiko Kageyama left behind a stable life in Japan and threw himself into the unknown in Thailand with nothing but his own resolve. At that time, he held onto a single belief—to test his abilities in a foreign land and seize success with his own hands.

Faced with cultural differences, language barriers, and countless uncertainties, Kageyama established an accounting firm in Bangkok, primarily serving Japanese companies. His first challenge was acquiring clients. Although many Japanese companies had already established a presence in Thailand, they were often satisfied with existing accounting services. To prove the value he could offer, Kageyama spent late nights preparing materials in his office and spent his days visiting companies, repeatedly introducing himself.

Determined to overcome the language barrier, he worked tirelessly to learn Thai and make an effort to understand Thai business customs. His hard work gradually paid off as he began to gain clients. However, the road to success was far from smooth.

One day, an urgent situation arose when a major client demanded a large volume of accounting work to be processed in a very short time. The deadline was only a few days away, and the complexity of the work meant that it would be nearly impossible to complete within the usual timeframe. Kageyama quickly devised a plan, mobilizing his staff to divide the tasks and work with full dedication.

As time passed, the staff began to show signs of fatigue, and mistakes started to occur. Kageyama personally corrected these errors, staying in the office longer than anyone else. Sleepless nights followed, and it was during this time that Kageyama made a firm decision: “There are limits to doing things this way. This industry needs Digital Transformation (DX).”

He decided to combine his accounting knowledge from Japan with his experience in Thailand to streamline accounting operations. To achieve this, he expanded his reach into web development and marketing. In 2024, he finally joined forces with Reezote, dedicating himself to promoting DX in accounting services in Thailand.

Today, Kageyama continues to work tirelessly, day and night. The lights in his office never go out, even in the late hours. From acquiring new clients to supporting existing ones, and developing new solutions to improve the efficiency of accounting operations, Kageyama’s hands are always busy.

His efforts and passion have earned the trust of Japanese companies in Thailand, solidifying his position in Bangkok. Kageyama’s story is not just a tale of business success; it is the story of a man who tested his strength in a foreign land, overcame challenges, and achieved success by staying true to his beliefs. Fumihiko Kageyama will continue to share the lessons he learned from his experiences, which began with nothing in a foreign land, with many others. And his journey is far from over.
