After graduating from Keio University, I, Kajimura, spent a year intensely studying to become a certified public accountant. Although I was consistently scoring above the passing line in mock exams, I realized that there are professions where you sell time and others where you sell skills. The work of an accountant is fundamentally about selling time, and I started to believe that acquiring top-notch skills across multiple professions is crucial for the future. I also wanted to make decisions that anticipate the times ahead.
During this period, I met Mr. Yamamoto of FIELD Corporation, who mentored me in a rigorous schedule, covering a wide range of technologies including HTML, CSS, JS, AWS, EC2, Docker, Git, PHP, Laravel, WordPress, DR, CRUD, requirements definition, S3, Route 53, DNS, Linux, Vim, VSCode, Vue.js, GAS, Figma, information architecture, SEO, and more. I worked tirelessly for 18 hours a day, every day for 150 days, without taking weekends off.
Through this experience, I witnessed the profound difference in my skills compared to six months ago. I also had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact of achieving the top rank in SEO and generating sales, as well as closing multi-million yen deals in an instant. These experiences and the acquisition of these skills made me realize that such knowledge and experience are essential for my generation.
When I heard about the opportunity to establish a corporation in Bangkok, I believed that this experience would further accelerate my growth, so I eagerly volunteered to lead the effort. Since then, I have been diligently working on establishing the Bangkok base.
